This grove of trees appears to be planted as a separator between two farms. The little leaves shimmer in the spring breeze as the morning sun lights them up. What a beautiful morning.

Standing atop the Cairn Gorm mountains gave a beautiful view of the snow capped peaks of the Highlands. A cold wind whipped by but occasionally paused long enough to enjoy the view.
I’m not one who reminisces about the good old days. There’s no need to complain about the “state of the world”. But, in the last couple months since I took this picture, these trees got sick and were removed. It will be quite a while before they grow back. Until then, I’ll just remember the way they used to be…
