St. Machar’s is a cathedral from the 1100’s named after a Celtic Saint.  I visited it while touring around as part of Scott Kelby’s World Wide Photo Walk.  The Heraldic Ceiling is made of Oak and has 48 shields representing various important people.  Today, a jazz band was holding rehearsal.
